Learning what you want to learn

Every student is different, so lessons are built around what you want to achieve. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, develop your technique, understand music theory or become a more confident player, your interests and goals help shape the lessons. A learner-centred approach keeps lessons relevant, engaging and purposeful.

Teaching from experience

Much of Lee’s approach to teaching comes from his own experience of learning bass. As he progressed during his early years as a player, he became increasingly aware of the things he wished someone had taught him when he first started. Those experiences now shape the way he teaches — helping students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence that he would have valued as a beginner.
