Since signing with BMG Records in 1991, Lee has gone on to record and tour with several artists, most notably as the bassist for the band Snuff (That’s Enough).

During his luctrative career as a musician, he was signed to major and independent labels and publishers, as well as self-releasing various projects.

In the early 2000’s, a hiatus for Snuff coincided with opportunities as a visiting lecturer at various educational institutions and four years working at BBC Radio as an assistant producer on shows such as Zane Lowe, The Rock Show, The Lock-Up, Annie Mac and more.

After a decade of managing Snuff’s business affairs and handling tour management duties, Lee started managing other artists. including Midlands-based band Last Hounds, negotiating and securing record and publishing deals on their behalf, consulting on legal matters, and raising their profile from a local, grassroots act to a recording and touring band. He is currently also managing up-and-coming alternative rock band Blush Puppy.

Lee has worked as a programme manager for various music specialist institutions, developing and leading music business programmes at undergraduate level. He currently runs the music business degree for pointblank Music School, London, who have just been awarded degree awarding powers and holds the Teaching Excellence Framework Gold Award.

Lee began work on a project that combined his experience as a touring musician and one of his specialist areas as an educator. The result was the Hi Stakes tour - an 8-date UK tour that saw four emerging bands tour the UK.

Lee is also creating a series of bass and music business-related online videos, planning to write a book on managing emerging artists, and is awaiting the outcome of his application to become an Advanced Higher Education Senior Fellow.
